Ummmmmm...Anything Wrong With This Picture?

Lord Help Me

So I'm now at the 30 week mark & can I just tell you...I'm ravenous all the time. This morning I had a chocolate donut, a nectarin & water and now I'm on to a buttered bagel & a pellegrino sparkling orange beverage. It's 11:07am.

I stepped on the scale this morning...I've gained 20 pounds so far. John saw the number on the scale & said "noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! oh my god". That is not encouraging, is it? So I just went online to see how much I should expect to gain for the whole pregnancy..thank goodness I'm not too far off. But damn, doesn't this kid know I don't like to exercise....doesn't she know what she's doing to her Momma?

I wonder what I'll have for lunch today...........

We got the glider & ottoman back last night with it's new slipcovers. It is gorgeous & looks so pretty up against the gray walls. Big round of applause for all of Sue's hard work at getting this done!!!!!

Are little girls shoes not the cutest things evvvvvver? Here are a few Gap & Gymboree shoes listed on Ebay that I'm bidding on. Love them. Can you just see Marnie rockin these?? (And yes, I'm pretty sure I have outfits that would match).

Home Depot Trip

Monday Sue came over to go over some more things for Marnie's room. John, Sue & I made a quick trip to Home Depot to pick out shades & to purchase the rug I found for the baby room. Let's talk about how I saved 10% off my entire order by purchasing a 10% off coupon off Ebay for $1.00. Ha! I saved $29 off the rug alone, just like that.

The Color To The Room

Here are the fabric swatches for Marnie's room. The pink material is going to be for the slipcover going on the glider & ottoman. The floral print material is going to be for the window valances- with a hint of the pink material peaking through on the bottoms. And the tassle trim is to add to the plain off -white Pottery Barn lampshades I have.

Are you people as excited about seeing this room done as I am?????

Laundry

Holy Moly. Thank goodness I had help this weekend sorting all the baby clothes...ummm....there's a lot. Mom, Robyn, Kaelyn, Maddie and myself divided the clothing into size piles Friday night. Sunday I started washing all the 0-3 months and 3-6 months. That was four batches of laundry. Sunday night I was finishing up my last batch so Mom N helped me fold clothes since she was over for the Superbowl.
Thanks for all the help everyone- you really saved me a lot of time & energy!
Preggers appreciates it.

Doin Good

Mom, Robyn, Kaelyn, and Maddie came down for the weekend and so they met John & I at the doctors office for our scheduled ultrasound. Tech said Marnie's head down & weighs 2.9 pounds. What a little porker! Video below isn't that great- next time I'll videotape when they do the heartbeat.





Poor Kaelyn didn't make it in the pic- I took the picture when I was laying down & couldn't see what I was doing. Sorry Pussycat!

It's Coming Along

Last night Big G came over to help move some of the furniture into Marnie's room & help put together the crib. As he likes to say "you couldn't have done it without me"...and he is right! The room is really starting to come together. Next up, ordering the area rug and starting to wash ALL of her clothes...fyi- I NEED to start now to be done by the time she gets here. We're talking mega clothes.

Johnny's Lil Dolphin

John had been hoping for a little boy...a lil buddy who would cheer on the Yankee's, root for Providence's basketball team, complete the foursome of golf with him, Big G and Bobby & bring the Dolphins victory after victory. He had visions of laying on the couch with the baby in his arms, bonding while they watched Sports Center. Now he sees visions of pink twirly dresses, dolls, and everything princess. So I felt bad. So I got Marnie her first official Dolphin gear- now she will be all ready to watch the Dolphins with her Dad!
